CREST - Practitioner Security Analyst - CPSA

Overview.

The CREST Practitioner Security Analyst (CPSA) is a 5 day instructor led, remote attend from anywhere course. You will acquire essential knowledge and skills to assess operating systems and common network services. Cyber Coaching are an approved CREST training provider.

The CPSA certification is the first step in the CREST's Penetration Testing career pathway, immersing you in the fundamentals of penetration testing. CPSA candidates will be able to demonstrate that they are qualified for hands on Pen Test Roles (indicative of 2 years experience).

Your expert instructor will guide you in identifying security vulnerabilities through basic infrastructure and web application testing & interpreting the results.

During this CREST CPSA course, you will explore a range of engaging topics, including:

• Core Technical Skills: OS fingerprinting, Cryptography, and network mapping

• Information Gathering & Open Source: Google Hacking and DNS checks

• Networking Equipment: Configuration analysis and networking protocols

• Windows and Unix Security Assessments: Common vulnerabilities and patch management

• Web Testing Techniques: OWASP Top 10 and Web Server remediations you can feedback to a client outlined in your penetration report.
